The Angel Hotel

We spent a few days in the hotel and loved every second of it. The rooms are new, neat, comfortable. The staff is wonderful and the pub / restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Highly recommended. We'll come back.

Aldo and his team provided a buffet and space for my Husbands funeral wake. The area was set out with great thought, flowers and candles, the buffet was excellent and the staff were constantly clearing tables, replenishing hot and cold drinks, and keeping the buffet topped up and tidy and even bringing out extra hot chips. A first class experience that made a very difficult day easier, a massive thank you to all concerned

I have to say this was a very pleasant surprise. The most succulent chicken burger and the best chips (triple cooked) that I have ever had. Service was great too. 5* well earned I ate every bite as you can see from the photo. Delicious. We will be back

You can tell when a place is run well by how they deal with problems. On arrival our room was cold. We were asked to wait for heating to kick in. When it didn’t we were immediately moved to one that was working. Perfect. Great pub, restaurant and rooms are well appointed

Angel Hotel was absolutely wonderful. We stayed here as we had a funeral to attend, the rooms were good, a little on the small side, but it was just for sleeping though, bed was comfortable and the location was right in the centre of town with the high street outside. There is no parking at this hotel though, but plenty round the back at Sainsbury's ( paid parking ) or 2 hours free on the high street between 8am and 6pm. The staff really go out of their way for you, very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was amazing too, nice selection and freshly prepared in the morning for your enjoyment. The pub was inviting and drinks were very reasonably priced. We had a great stay and amazing service from all the staff at The Angel, massive thank you from us all.

A group of our members got together for Christmas drinks at the Angel and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The atmosphere was lovely, the bar staff were friendly, and we were able to sit together despite it being a lively, busy pub!

Absolute bargain. Very last minute stay, nice room and plenty comfy.

Stayed for two nights, room very comfortable, loved the vest soft bed.

Visited over bank holiday so pub restaurant wasn't open late but the member of staff was helpful and made us aware of where other places to eat etc. We took our dog and the room was really practical with a decent shower. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. Wootton Bassett was small but had all the shops, eating places and fuel stations you'd want. We were really pleased that we chose to stay here and would be happy to return.

The pub inside is nice, the atmosphere is nice, beers available on tap, and a mani for food. Important, the kitchen is open at 6PM. Staff is very friendly. It is not cheap, but given the place and it is is aligned with the overall offer. You can bring your dog, which is really nice. I will be back, for sure.
